Our design for the headquarters of a fruit wholesale company in Molina de Segura near Murcia responds to the scenic placement of the building and the relatively hot climate of the site: Two office spaces and a conference room, as well as a patio, are sunken into the terrain and as a result are provided with shadow and coolness. Towards the street at the narrow side of the site the building reveals only a ramp leading onto the roof out of which access to the patio unfolds with an inviting gesture. Two parking lots are sunken in from the street onto the site on a ramp leading downwards. The office and conference spaces open towards the patio and also towards the other narrow side of the property where a valley passes by, allowing a wonderful panoramic view from the front studio and the terraces. The floor of the patio and interior is designed in mastic asphalt; the roof landscape where additional terraces are located is covered with tartan.
